Queen Of Black Hearts

a delirious deliverance
the fever delves in me
demarcation rendered meaningless
behind the smoke of brown leaves

i feign immunity
the poison spreads slow
aroused emotional states
i cannot make obscure

your restraint is arresting
and this stone is bleeding
tranquillized by the sleeping face
entranced by soft white fibres
woven, dyed darkest black

actualities overwhelming
mesmerized by her face
flaying starchy plant tuber
captivated by the enchantment
of floating in an invisible embrace
